About Me
Let me introduce myself.
I am a videographer, developer, father, grandfather and general good-deed doer. I currently run my non-profit Learn Ubuntu Org Inc and the Video Voyager Project which is a Learn Ubuntu project, a Video Production trailer built largely using FOSS open source Ubuntu Linux. I have 40 plus years of technical experience ranging from media production through IT Administration and Development skills. I have taught several IT based technical training classes as an adjunct professor at NJIT, Newark NJ and at other institutions and locations as well.

My Recent Experience
A brief hightlight of my recent work experiences
Learn Ubuntu Org Inc
June 2023 - Present
Devoted full time to Learn Ubuntu Org Projects and
Courseware.
Currently involved in Video Voyager Project
Working on developing Learn Ubuntu courseware and consulting for other non-profits
who wish to move the the AWS Cloud.
Television Studio Engineer
June 2020 - June 2023
I was called by my long time Employer, DisneyABC, to come back
to help them during the Corona Pandemic
to help in the ABC Studios NYC.
During that time I worked on the
$100,000 Pyramid, 2020 Elections for ABC News, and The Tamron Hall Show as a
studio support engineer.
Adjunct Professor NJIT
August 2019 - Sept 2019
Teaching CISCO Networking IT job skills to studnets for
Community based Project, Newark NJ. I taught a
combined course covering topics to prepare students to pass the Cisco Networking
and Net+ Networking Certification Exams.
This was a work program sponsored
by PSE&G
My AWS Certifications and Associations
I made it a point to learn as much as I could about AWS and therefore I have been able to acheve the several AWS certifications over the past few years. I am a proud memeber of AWS Community Builders and an AWS IQ Expert. I like to think that I am paid, not for what I know, but for what I am able to figure out, based on my previous knowledge, experience, qualifications, and persistence.
